Thank you for considering submitting your work to Creativables! We’re excited to review your creativity and potentially feature it in our publication. Before you submit, please carefully read the following guidelines:
Eligibility
We welcome submissions from artists, writers, photographers, tailors, models, poets, and creators of all backgrounds and experience levels.
Content
We accept a wide range of content, including but not limited to:
- Fiction and non-fiction stories
- Poetry and prose
- Visual art (paintings, illustrations, photography, etc.)
- Comics and graphic narratives
- Essays and opinion pieces
- Interviews and profiles
Format
Please ensure your submission is in a readable format. For written work, we prefer Google Docs, Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx), or PDF format. For visual art, high-resolution images (at least 300 dpi) are preferred.
Length
- Written work: Up to 1500 word limit.
- Visual art: Please submit up to 2 pieces of artwork. You may submit more, but only 2 pieces are allowed per issue.
Submission Process:
- Send your submission via email to [email protected]
- In the subject line, include: “Submission: [Your Name] – [Title of Work]”.
- Include a brief bio (50-100 words) about yourself in the body of the email. You may also include any relevant links to your portfolio or social media profiles.
- Attach your submission(s) to the email.
Response Time
We strive to respond to all submissions within 5 business days. If you haven’t heard back from us within this time, feel free to follow up via email.
Rights
By submitting your work, and if your work is selected for publication, you agree to grant us the right to publish it in our magazine, on our website, and across our social media platforms. After publication, rights revert back to the author/artist.
By submitting your work, you also acknowledge that you have the right and permission to submit the work for publication. This includes any necessary approvals from third parties who hold rights to the content. You affirm that the work is your original creation or that you have secured proper licenses or permissions to use any third-party content, including text, images, audio, or other multimedia elements. Creativables Magazine is not responsible for ensuring these rights on your behalf and will not publish any submissions that infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
Editing
We may edit submissions for grammar, style, and formatting. We will seek your approval for any significant changes.
Non-Monetary Compensation
At Creativables, we value creative expression and strive to provide a platform for artists and writers to showcase their work. Although there’s no monetary compensation at this stage, you’ll gain the prestige of being a founding contributor who helps shape the future of our magazine with your unique creative voice. Additionally, being published is a valuable addition to your resume as you pursue bigger career opportunities.
